Summer Camp Programs in Session!

We are excited to announce that we have completed our first week of Summer Camp for kids ages 5-13. We have two amazing locations to support the East Flatbush and Canarsie communities. It’s been such a fun and exciting first week of summer camp at the Winthrop Beacon and Bildersee Beacon! Participants are enjoying making new friends, getting to know their counselors, and bonding with each other all while social distancing and following CDC guidelines.
 
 


 

Sesame Welcomes New SYEP Staff and Participants

As you may recall the Summer Youth Employment Program was abruptly placed on hold earlier this year as we all learned that there was a new reality to contend with when the Novel Corona virus arrived in our City.

This summer Sesame Flyers is positively impacting the lives of nearly 600 hundred youth ages 16-21 with the virtual Summer Youth Employment Program. This program now focuses on career and leadership development. We are very proud for our teens and young adults and the dynamic batch of newly hired teachers that have joined the Sesame Family.
