The
leaves are beginning to descend, the night air is more crisp - Fall is
on the horizon. This season reminds me of the many changes we have been
enduring in the past few months and how we must continue to weather
these changes in our work, home and personal life. Finding connection
and direction in times where it seems like everything is changing has
proven to be a challenge for most people and organizations around the
world. So please, use this moment to take a deep breath, and to
remember, we are all in this together. |

We celebrate the life of an honorable leader of justice, the late, great Ruth Bader Ginsburg, March 15, 1933 - September 18, 2020. She fought countless battles to ensure that women had a seat at the table and spent half a century on wining cases that eliminated discrimination in healthcare, the workforce, voter rights and so many others. You cannot replace a woman like Ms. Ginsburg, but we can make sure her legacy lives on.
Our mission
to provide our youth with opportunities where they will gain skills that
will prepare them for the challenges yet to come and like Ms. Ginsburg
we want to make sure that the children of the future have the tools they
need to make this world a fairer and just place. October 11th was
International Day of The Girl, a day that exists to recognize girls'
rights and the unique challenges girls face all over the world. Ruth
Bader Ginsburg’s life gives such relevance to days such as this.
International Day of The Girl is meant to promote the empowerment of
young girls everywhere, while also advocating for the attainment of
their basic human rights, like education and bodily autonomy. |

For far too
long our young kids are forced to come to terms with their reality of
being black in America. We say the name Breonna Taylor and the names of
the many unarmed black people killed by the police. We stand in
solidarity with the organizations fighting for our lives and freedoms
for all black people and people of color. We will continue to challenge
white supremacy and demand justice for those wrongfully killed by the
law because being silent isn’t an option and our youth need to see a new
world with a bright and safe future future ahead of them. |
