Language Arts is a comprehensive literacy program meant to build strong communication skills by deepening participants’ understanding of the English language. The Language Arts program is designed to give participants a comprehensive, standards-based education that includes phonics, reading fluency, grammar, writing, comprehension and more. The curriculum is online and is taught through interactive lessons and activities which include quizzes and tests to help participant’s understanding.

Mathematics can be a challenge for participants of all ages. Sesame Flyers International offers math tutoring programs designed to unlock the world of math for beacon participants in elementary school, middle school, and high school. Our experienced mathematics tutor will help participants learn foundational skills as well as build a comprehensive understanding of math and its relationship to real-world situations. We are dedicated to helping participants reach their potential in mathematics.

The STEAM Initiatives program to establish a diverse and inclusive pipeline for New York City's youth to engage in architecture, construction, and engineering (ACE) industries. Our customized outreach programs enhance student awareness of these fields, beginning in middle school through high school and college. This further enriches the broader goals of STEAM: to bring awareness to the importance of science, technology, engineering, art/architecture and mathematics in our educational system.

There are many reasons parents choose tutoring for their children. Some parents and guardians feel unable to help their children with schoolwork. Others may find their children are more receptive to working through school struggles with another person. Tutoring can help strengthen subject comprehension, boost confidence, and build important learning skills. Tutoring gives students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This helps children who struggle to keep up, as well as those who aren’t challenged enough.
