Summer Youth Employment Program
For over 20 years, Sesame Flyers has been empowering the youth of New York City through the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). We've provided thousands of young people with paid summer employment for up to six weeks in July and August, working in entry-level jobs in a variety of exciting industries, from arts and recreation to healthcare and information technology.
But it's not just about a paycheck. SYEP participants also attend workshops on job readiness, career exploration, financial literacy, and opportunities for continued education and social growth.
