Winthrop Beacon Community Center
Sesame Flyers' Beacon Programs provide safe and supportive environments for children, youth, and families to learn and grow outside of school hours. Beacon programs are after-school programs that operate in public schools and provide a wide range of services to the community. With over 20 years of experience, our programs offer a wide range of activities, from sports and recreation to academic support and family engagement opportunities. By operating in public schools, we are able to use the full facilities to provide a comprehensive range of services that meet the diverse needs of the community. Children can receive homework help, participate in sports activities, and enjoy a nutritious meal, while parents can take part in fitness classes or attend workshops. Our Beacon Programs strive to empower individuals and build a stronger community through education, personal development, and social interaction.
